EASTER SUNDAY: Lingering showers are possible through 11 am on Easter Sunday as the sky gradually clears from northwest to southeast. It will be cooler, with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s early and highs in the upper 60s during the afternoon. Clouds linger, and it stays breezy.
Severe weather is possible across the Quad Cities area Friday evening.
The snow will be wet and heavy. Take precautions while shoveling and take breaks as needed! The good news with this is that not as much wind is expected compared to our typical snow storms. It will be breezy Saturday, though, which will lead to some further impacts to visibility with falling snow.
