The Weather Authority was tracking scattered thunderstorms Monday afternoon. Temperatures will peak in the upper 80s to low 90s, but with high humidity, it may feel closer to or just above 100°F.
An impactful nor'easter is taking shape and is expected to bring snow and strong winds to the Northeast and New England this weekend.
Parts of the state are forecast to experience moderate to major coastal flooding, inland flash flooding, winds up to 60 mph, up to 5 inches of rain and high surf, potentially causing beach erosion.
