A NASA astronaut recently sent the internet into a frenzy when he posted an alien-looking photo on social media.

Four astronauts — three Americans and one Canadian — are scheduled to launch at 6:24 p.m. Eastern on the first crewed journey to the moon since 1972.

The four-member crew successfully completed a "translunar injection burn" on Thursday, sending them out of Earth's orbit and toward the moon.
