On Wednesday morning we caught up with members of the Guyana Defence Force Ranks along the East Coast Demerara Public Road who were engaged in a Pack March. Pack Marches are compulsory and make up part of a string of activities which ranks and officers of the GDF are engaged in to ensure their individual readiness. The marches are done on a quarterly basis. Ranks are also engaged in a fitness 2-miles run, press-ups, and sit-ups even as they are also required to do physical readiness tests. Subsc
