Printing some of the creepiest electrotypes (copy of a woodcut) from the Lewis Winter Collection. These were printed in a mix of reflex blue and opaque white rubber base ink. These are now available in our museum store as part of a bundle of absurd prints. We don’t know what was going through Lewis Winter’s mind when he designed letterpress cuts of feet, that also have faces on them, 130 years ago. Fifty prints were made during this press run with a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press.
