This week I share Dance of Spring captured in concert at the 2007 Montreal International Jazz Festival. For me, Montréal audiences have a special live energy that is difficult to describe and best experienced. I am really looking forward to returning to perform in Montréal when festival life resumes next year. I performed “Alone” on my beloved Conde guitar at the Rose Theatre in Brampton Ontario in May 2012 for my PBS special the following year. I bought this guitar in Madrid years ago from the luthier himself. It is the stradivarius of flamenco guitars. There is something about its tone that is like no other guitar I’ve played.
