I finally tested paraffin wax in gelatin and hide glue molds. The wax castings did come out, but the molds melted slightly, which tells me the wax was still too hot for protein-based materials. This was a good reminder that these traditional molds have limits. They shine with low-temperature materials, but wax pushes the boundary. Still learning. Still testing.
