A new 1.6-billion-parameter robot foundation model named LDA-1B entered the embodied AI space, trained on a massive dataset of over 30,000 hours of heterogeneous human and robot interaction data.The model leverages a Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformer to deeply understand its environment. Rather than processing physical actions sequentially, it jointly learns policy, forward and inverse dynamics, and visual forecasting all within a structured latent space.
