The local indigenous wild horse program has been in study now for two years. And the data coming in has been mind boggling. Herd behavior has been all over the map, literally. Most collared mares seem to change hands like a card game of go fish, with what appears to be very little loyalty or consistency with their stallions. With only two exceptions being Elvis and who I call the Spanish Stallion. They still have their original mares. This big fella though, one of my favs the buckskin stallion,
