The Excise Tax Bill and the Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill passed by Parliament will change the way vehicles are taxed in the country. At a press conference today, Member of the National Assembly Tashi Tenzin explained that although the tax structure is being revised, many vehicle categories will actually see a reduction in overall tax rates.
