I have been getting SCREAMED at all day long because I (evil, cruel, bad mom) had the audacity to STARVE my poor, innocent horses this morning (gave them the hay they like less). If you didn’t know, there are different kinds of hay that have different levels of nutrients in them. We have been feeding a grass and alfalfa mix - alfalfa has more sugar than grass so obviously they prefer it.
