Sanding EXTREMELY worn floor! This Tasmanian Oak floor had been completely worn through and needed to be restored. We started with 50grit sandpaper on the big machine and edger. Moving on to 80grit and finally 120grit. The floor was then coated with a primer followed by an incredibly durable and long lasting water-based varnish by Berger-Seidle. Came up good as new! Although effective this was too time consuming - so we brought out the EDGER! Much quicker, especially using a 24grit ceramic disc.
