The neuroscience of how to trauma is stored in your body. Essentially when you take in sensory information that is traumatic your mind sends a single to your brain to store this information. Then you brain usually cannot hold it so it goes through your hypothalamus and shoves that message back down into your body. It’s at that point in your hypothalamus and some other pieces of your nervous system turn that electrochemical message into a hormonal message through your immune and endocrine system.
